The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is one of the most diverse and innovative places of learning in Australia. The Faculty is also home to some of Australia's leading scholars in a range of disciplines. Staff are committed to the pursuit of academic excellence and service. Catering for over 4,500 current students and with an intake of approximately 1,000 commencing students each year, the Faculty is renowned for its teaching programs and the support structures it provides students. Students enjoy a progressive environment in which they are supported to excel in their areas of interest and to develop their creativity, scholarship and ability to learn. The Faculty comprises four schools that offer a range of programs across five campuses throughout Victoria: Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, Melbourne (Bundoora), Mildura and Shepparton. Students wanting to study at a regional campus can take advantage of the study opportunities provided by the Faculty as well as enjoying a unique environment in which to live, study and work.
