Employee Services and RecruitmentRecruitment Advertising DeadlinesThe process for recruitment advertising is scheduled on a weekly basis . To have your recruitment advertising placed in the next available publication(s), all approved and confirmed relevant documentation (as listed below) must be finalised and ready for processing in Human Resources before 12 noon on Monday. Human Resources cannot commence a recruitment advertising process until the following approved documentation has been obtained: Original hard copy Request for Recruitment with all necessary approvals i) Dean/or equivalent for general positions up to HEO9 and academic positions to Level C. Senior staff HEO10 and senior academic positions Levels D & E require the additional approval of the Vice-Chancellor. ii) Confirmation from Finance Division of funding availability iii) Confirmation of position description and verification of classification level for general positions
It is important to note that if any aspect of the above is incomplete or not received by Human Resources by 12noon Monday, you will have missed the advertising deadline. Please note that this timeline is essential as appropriate newsprint space must be booked. On some occasions it may be necessary to bring the deadline forward due to public holidays or university holidays. For the relevant cut-off dates, please view the HR/Payroll Calendar at http://www.latrobe.edu.au/hr/recruitment.htm. Positions advertised in The Australian will be part of the La Trobe University composition advertisement in the Higher Education section of the Wednesday edition of The Australian. The option to advertise positions in relevant regional and local newspapers is also available.
