Course description

The current global economy requires people with a legal background to have an understanding of business. This course aims to provide an understanding of the links between major business functions and the legal framework, and prepare students for careers in the international business and legal environment.

Course structure

Students complete four subjects from the Master of Laws in Global Business Law and four from the Master of International Business.

Australian Bachelor of Laws or approved international equivalent.

Semester starts

Semester 1 and 2 (March and July)

Additional information

Subjects are offered in five-day block release mode between teaching period one and teaching period two (June-July) and over summer (Dec-Feb); and are normally assessed by a month take-home exam. The International Business program runs during teaching period one (Feb-May) and teaching period two (July-October). The Univesrity normally offers an introductory program of teaching period one to assist transition to postgraduate studies.
