Course description
The Master of Business (Management) is designed to add value to a graduate’s original studies by developing knowledge and skills in recognised core management areas. Completion of the Masters will provide graduates from non-management disciplines with career development and advancement opportunities.
Participants will study a range of required business and management subjects concluding in the final tier with a research project. The project will build upon the management areas addressed in the program and allow an opportunity for applied research.
Course structure
Students complete six subjects or a minimum of three subjects and a 15,000-word project report equivalent to three subjects.
Contact hours
Each subject is delivered in block mode over several weekends, and delivered in three modules (39 contact hours per subject). Subjects are generally delivered in alternate years.

Undergraduate degree, and proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Two years' professional experience is also desirable, Applicants with a Graduate Diploma in Management may receive full credit and gain direct entry.

Additional information
Graduates with either the Bachelor of Business (Honours) or the Graduate Diploma in Management from La Trobe University are normally required to complete six additional subjects.
Professional recognition
Graduates are eligible to apply for membership of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM).
