Course description

This course aims to prepares graduates from disciplines other than tourism for professional and managerial employment in tourism. It provides a flexible structure to suit individual requirements, allowing students to expand on their previous studies and vocational experiences.

Course structure

Students complete eight subjects.including Strategic Management Leisure Industry and seven tourism subjects suited to their specific interests.

Australian Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Applicants with comparable qualifications are also considered.

Those interested in tourism may find roles in the airline industry, coach companies, cruise lines, holiday resorts, tourist attractions, ecotourism, event and conference management, international sporting events and festivals, government tourism organisations, and wholesale and retail tourism.

Those choosing to work in hospitality may work as managers of hotels, motels, resorts, restaurants, clubs, large catering facilities and convention centres, or establish their own businesses.
