Course description
This course provides health professionals who have an interest in developing health promotion in their current work context with skills that will support a shift in career. Students have the opportunity to develop skills in health promotion planning and program delivery, evaluation and needs assessment and interorganisational work with partners. Content emphasises the development of new skills that help students to develop health education/health promotion aspects of their profession. It is designed to provide maximum flexibility for participants.

Course structure
The course comprises eight subjects. Subject choice is flexible, with each student developing a personalised program in consultation with the course coordinator.
The course is structurally integrated with the Master of Public Health and the Master of Health Administration. This enables students who perform at a high academic level to proceed with further studies.
