Course description

This program provides managers and leaders with a sound and systematic body of knowledge and skills based on the latest research in corporate responsibility (CR). It seeks to broaden and deepen their understanding of the issues and dilemmas surrounding the management of CR, and to provide them with an integrated approach to CR theory and practice that incorporates business, environment and social imperatives. The course is suitable for people who would like to be working in CR, would like to obtain a greater professionalisation in CR, or who want a clearer pathway into the CR profession.

Course structure

Students complete four compulsory subjects: Foundations in Integrating Responsible Business Practices; Culture, Values and Ethics in Business; Foundations of Managing Environmental, Social and Governance Risk; and Corporate Value.

Contact hours

30 contact hours per subject, per term. Subjects are generally delivered in 5-day block mode.

The University reserves the right to vary fees on an annual basis. Fees will not normally rise above 7% per annum. Should the University decide to increase its fees, that increase will take effect on 1 January of the following year.

Prerequisites

Australian Bachelor degree in any discipline or approved international equivalent, and five years' work experience or significant level of business experience, equivalent to 8 years.
