Course description

This management program provides candidates with a range of skills and a broad business knowledge essential for working within contemporary organisations. The course offers students a rigorous background in the techniques of management, business and administration, through integration of theory and previously acquired workplace experience.
Please note this program is currently unavailable at the Bendigo campus until 2013.

Course structure

Students complete six core subjects and two electives. Students with a grade average of 65 per cent or above may consider a pathway to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) with full Advanced Standing (credit).

The University reserves the right to vary fees on an annual basis. Fees will not normally rise above 7% per annum. Should the University decide to increase its fees, that increase will take effect on 1 January of the following year.

Additional costs (AUD)

Books and stationery: approximately A$1 000. Students can purchase these from any supplier; they remain students' personal property.

Selection

IELTS (Academic) - minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no individual band score less than 6.0; or

TOEFL Computer-Based Test - A minimum score of 233 with a score of 5 in essay writing; or

TOEFL Paper-based Test - A minimum score of 575 with a score of 5 or more in the test of Written English; or

TOEFL Internet-based Test - A minimum score of 88 with no individual score less than 22; or

Completion of the English for Further Studies Advanced Stage 5B certificate at PG (postgraduate) level available from the La Trobe Melbourne; or

Approved equivalent.

Academic entry requirements

An Australian Bachelors degree in any discipline, or an approved international equivalent and/or relevant work experience.

Extra requirements
